The Venous Stent Registry

Clinical guidelines on the management of patients with venous stents are severely lacking, which reflects the variety of clinical practice observed in terms of type (i.e. anti-platelet and/or anticoagulant) and duration of therapy.

This registry seeks to determine management practices and outcomes in stented patients in relation to pharmacologic strategies. In light of recently completed and ongoing trials evaluating the efficacy of harmacomechanical thrombolysis in treatment of acute lower limb DVTs.
